DKNY

Rachel Bilson is the latest celebrity to jump on the bandwagon and design a collection for a designer brand. The junior sportswear line will be called Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans, Edie after her grandmother and Rose after a family friend. The collection hits stores in September and consists of about 15 pieces for the launch, including a sportswear mix of button-down tops, sweaters, jackets, T-shirts, dresses and two jeans styles a straight leg and a skinny leg, both available in a dark wash. The entire line will wholesale between $19.50 and $49.50 per piece, which is in line with the DKNY Jeans range. The color palette is made up of mostly simple black-and-white, with a pop of yellow. Ive always liked Rachel Bilsons style and the preview of the collection looks pretty simple and cute - Ill def look out for this line when it launches.

Rachel Bilson is hands-on with her Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans collection, not only is she designing the line she is also fronting for the campaign. The collection is set to release in time for back-to-school, the ad campaign was shot in New York at Pier 59 Studios by Mikael Jansson, the campaign was conceptualized by Trey Laird, president and executive creative director at Laird + Partners. Look out for the ads come September and October in the issues of the Teen Vogue and Cosmogirl magazines- the line will be sold at Macys, Dillards and Bon-Ton starting in September.

Monogue said the line is different from the DKNY Jeans collection, because it is being made mostly in a simple black-and-white palette, with the occasional yellow as a pop color
