You heard right. Geek is chic. But you can put away the books. There’s nothing librarian about it.
I’m thinking an Olsen with an iPad, a skinny tie and a pair of Ray-Ban Clubmasters – in black or blue. Or Tina Fey, well, just as she is (I love her). It’s not quite sandals and socks, but with the right pair of sunglasses, hey, anything’s possible.
Black heavy frames are key. And they should be just slightly too big for your face. The way to get this look right is to get it just that little bit wrong.
It doesn’t matter what clothes you like to wear – goth, hippy, preppy or a just a little bit indie – you can still rock some geek chic. Just make sure you balance it out with some code-cracking sunglasses. Like these peeps. The style-savvy actress has selected three gorgeous bags from Coach’s Poppy collection to benefit children’s charity, The Art of Elysium, a non-profit organization that encourages working actors, artists and musicians to help children who are battling serious medical conditions.
“[Rachel] looked over the selection of bags and decided which bags she would own herself, as well as the practicality of each bag for an appropriate time of day,”

Los Angeles, Jun 18, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are having a sort of a breakup. Both of them are planning to ‘take a break’ from each other.
The couple dated for a year, and then got engaged in February 2009. However there seems to be trouble in paradise, as instead of making plans to walk down the aisle, they are thinking of separating for a while. After a break they would again think over their feelings for each other and also ponder over the question whether they have a future together with each other or not.
According to a source close to the couple, “They are taking about a month off and will then revisit their relationship to decide if they should stay together.”
The 28-year-old actress Rachel Bilson also confirmed the temporary breakup. She was the co-host of the show Take No Prisoners in Los Angeles, but she confirmed the breakup as she was seen there bereft of her engagement ring. When she was questioned by the Us Weekly about the impending marriage plans, then she showed off her engagement finger which was minus the ring and added that, “No, no plans. No nothing.”

Rachel Bilson is enjoying a successful and continually developing acting career on both big and small screens. She was most recently seen alongside Andy Garcia in a film comprised of a series of shorts called, “New York, I Love You” as well as starred in the lead role of this year’s indie feature, “Waiting For Forever.”
Other past film credits include starring as the female lead opposite Hayden Christensen in “Jumper” for 20th Century Fox Studios and “The Last Kiss,” with Zach Braff and directed by Tony Goldwyn for Paramount. Bilson has since additionally appeared in notable guest star roles on hit television series such as “How I Met Your Mother” and Josh Schwartz’s, “CHUCK.” In 2008, she released her own clothing line called Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans. Bilson also became an integral part of pop culture due to her series regular role on the very popular television show, “The OC,” for four seasons on the Fox Network.
Having started out playing parts in stage productions of “Bye Bye Birdie,” “Once Upon A Mattress” and “The Crucible,” Bilson moved on to guest-starring in television series such as “That ’70s Show,” “Mad TV,” “8 Simple Rules” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
She currently lives in Los Angeles, where she was also raised.
